As an Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist, Anne Dorsey specializes in advanced airway diagnostic imaging and radiological evaluations. Anne delivers precise, thorough analyses to support care and treatment planning.

Previously, Anne served as Chief Resident at the Univeristy of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry from December 2022 to July 2023. This role allowed her to lead radiology casework, mentor fellow residents, and collaborate with faculty on innovative imaging techniques. These experiences strengthened her expertise in diagnostics and academic leadership.

Anne's educational journey began at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (2016–2020). This rigorous program provided her with a strong foundation in dentistry and specialized training in oral and maxillofacial radiology. Before dental school, she pursued the Predental program at North Carolina State University (2012–2013) and the College of Charleston (2013-2016), cementing her early commitment to a career in dental health.

Anne also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Davidson College (2007–2011). Through activities like the Women's Leadership Conference, Davidson Outdoors, and Ultimate Frisbee, she developed a deeper understanding of human behavior and gained valuable leadership experience.

Beyond my academic and clinical training, Anne had the chance to take on some unique roles that shaped her skills unexpectedly. As a Climbing Coach for Charleston County Park & Recreation, she helped people of all ages conquer literal and figurative walls while emphasizing safety and technique. As a Medical Office Assistant for Dr. Roy E. Gaines Jr., DDS, MD, PA, Anne managed patient records, insurance claims, and scheduling. And yes, she even spent time as a Barista at Starbucks, learning how to juggle fast-paced teamwork and deliver excellent customer service with a smile.

This blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and diverse professional experiences enables Anne to provide compassionate, tailored care to each person she serves. She helps others achieve better health and well-being through precise imaging or personalized attention.
